Hazardous Materials Team

The Joliet Fire Department Hazardous Materials Team was created in response to the ever increasing quantity of hazardous materials that are located, manufactured or transported through our city each day. There are many modes of transportations, highway, rail, barge, and aircraft, that can transport hazardous materials, and we must be trained and ready to respond to these incidents if they occur within our city.
