Ambulance Billing
The Joliet Fire Department Emergency Medical Service is comprised of over 140 paramedics, 9 front line ambulances, 3 ALS non-transport units, and numerous other units that have basic life support (BLS) equipment. All fire engines and ladder trucks are equipped with AED's and many times will respond to assist the ALS (advanced life support) ambulances.
Most individuals have some type of medical insurance (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid) and are covered for ambulance transports in the case of an emergency.
Our goal is high quality care delivered by courteous medics.
Any questions or complaints may be directed to 815-724-3503.
